We sell groceries, vegetables and newspapers in the shop. The tearooms serve breakfasts and lunches and of course tea! On Sundays we serve a roast lunch - all welcome but bookings preferred, if possible. The Shop and Tearooms are open in summer all week except Tuesday afternoon. In winter we close on Sundays and Saturday afternoons.

We are the perfect spot to break your journey, be it in car, on motorbycle, bicycle or on foot. Enjoy a cup of tea or more with us, Tim & Angela, in our lovely village. We also sell books about the village and the local area, including the best walks, to help you enjoy your stay with us.

Bookings now being taken for Christmas Lunches - Wednesday until Sunday inclusive - please contact us to discuss your individual requirements, and to request a menu. We are also available for functions any time of the year and welcome walking parties, cyclists and those just looking for tea and a chat.
