The Copy Nook Hotel is a former Coaching Inn full of character and with a wealth of oak beams and open log fire.

The Copy Nook Hotel is situated just off the A59 1 1/2 miles away from the village of Bolton by Bowland and surrounded by the picturesque Forest of Bowland National Park; this is an area for sightseers who flock throughout the year.

There are many beautiful walks for the experienced and the novice hiker, we are perfectly situated for the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and the Trough of Bowland.

From the North: M6 (Junction 36), take A65 past Kirby Lonsdale until you reach Settle. Turn right to Rathmall (turn under an arch stone bridge) in Wigglesworth Plough Inn on the right, turn right then keep left at fork, follow signs for Clitheroe, Copy Nook on right (From Settle to Copy Nook 10 miles).

From the South: M6 (Junction 31) take A59, follow signs for Clitheroe and Skipton. Bypass Clitheroe, then look for signs to Bolton by Bowland and Sawley on left. Here turn left off A59, go left around Spread Eagle Hotel, follow road for 2 miles. Copy Nook on left. (From Preston to Copy Nook 20 miles).

 

The Copy Nook is a family run hotel and is famous for its good home-cooked food.

Also a wide selection of bar meals are available and look out for the 'specials' board, where extra dishes compliment the main menu.

Early breakfasts can be arranged the night before. Sunday Lunch pre-booking is essential. Monday Lunch is not available at the hotel but for residents Monday dinner is available at 7.00pm only.

Breakfast is served from: 7.30am to 9.30am

Lunch is served in the Restaurant from: 12.00noon to 2.00pm (Tuesday to Sunday)

Dinner is served in the Restaurant from: 7.00pm to 9.30pm

We offer the traditional aspects of an English Inn where great beer, good food and enjoyable company will be encountered.

We are able to organise activities within your stay such as caving, fishing pony trekking and clay pigeon shooting.

However, if you prefer something a little more relaxing, the area offers a wide choice of tea shops, museums, craft works and potteries.
