Bolton-by-Bowland Cricket Club Annual Tour 2007
The Prague Tour.

Prague: Prague won by 6 runs.

Although the games were important the match report will be brief. Bolton’s best player was Mick Stott from Waddington. He qualified by being son in law of John Hill – the day tour cultural guide. The tour guide on nightshift was Gary Fawcett ably supported at the hip by Mick Smalley. Click on 'Next' to the left to see the pictures.

Mick Stott also won the prize for best tour man having the courtesy not to disturb Harris and the chairman in the small hours on his return from his nocturnal wanderings.

Some highlights:
Nick Holden complaining at paying 40p a pint for beer.
Losing the ‘Woodland’ creature.
Iain’s boil and the dressing daily dressing thereof.
Stephen Booth’s captaincy and run out in the second match.. When we were 91 for 3 off 13 overs chasing 119 the chairman muttered ‘we will have to work hard to lose it from here’. We did!!
Live music on the Sunday night where the £5/head kitty lasted all night. Nb Kitty is a financial term and not a Prague female.
