G Johnson X1 Beat BBB by 15 runs

Holmefield: GJX1won toss; GJX1 won by 15 runs.

Graham Johnson, Chairman Kent CCC, steered his side to victory in a 20/20 game played at Bolton. Graham also invited Jack Simmons , chairman of Lancashire CCC , who talked with players and spectators as Graham with consummate ease scored an impressive 56 before being stumped by Mark Carlton. His first class batting average was 24.5 over 605 innings. Alan Knott aka Roger Wood also got a stumping for the Kent side dismissing Keith White for 1. Graham nominated our grounds men Dougie and Mick men of the match and also presented the club with a Lord Taverners’ bag of kit for use by the juniors. The rain carried on but didn’t spoil a great evening a Fox Ghyll courtesy of Chris and Joanne Bosonnet.
