It was only after putting in Waddington’s full batting order into the scorebook, without including bowler Jones, that it was realised a twelve men Waddington side had took the field. In a 30 over game Waddington scored 217 with Draycott hitting a fine 75. Both Nigel Bunyan and Dave Ashton put in fine fielding performances. Joe Bunyan was Bolton’s best bowler and batsman just missing out on his maiden 50.
