Bolton-by-Bowland v Grindleton
Home, Sunday 24 July 2005
Farewell fifty from Wilson.

Holmefield (Grindleton won toss): BBB beat Grindleton by 6wkts.
Gordon Wilson’s last game for Bolton saw him take 2 wickets and score
50 in a good win over Grindelton. The dependable Scot (East side) took his
tally of runs for the season to nearly 300 and has taken 17 wickets. Stephen
Booth and Danny Glover bowled well, both making the Grindelton batsmen work
for their runs. In the end John Reynolds carved through their middle order
with a commendable 4 for 34. The village shook when captain Simon Reynolds
dived to his left to take a magnificent catch, off John’s bowling,
to dismiss the dangerous Middlebrough. After Gordon’s 50 Phil Smalley
and Stephen Booth both scored well to complete the victory.
