Chris Seed bid for Theaker Trophy.

Stonyhurst (HG won toss): BBB beat Hurst Green by 8wkts.

In a good all round team performance Bolton thrashed Hurst Green by 8 wkts. The match provided several contenders for the Theaker trophy. Stephen Booth pinned back the Hurst Green elite with just 10 runs off 8 overs. The wicket keeping union of Wood and Levet also appeared in the score book with catches and stumpings galore. Nigel Bunyan bowled tidily. The Hurst Green innings ended with Chris Seed taking 3 for 9; he then opened the Bolton batting with 59 not out. Chris was supported by Ian Harris, who knocked a quick 20, and Gordon Wilson who scored 37 including a massive 6 on the wide open plains of the Stonyhurst ground.
