First Thursday evening loss in 2.5 years!

WADDINGTON: (Waddington won toss): Waddington beat BBB by 20 runs.

Waddington batsmen thumped the away team bowlers to end Bolton’s two and a half year unbeaten record. John Hill opened the bowling with a maiden but the advantage was lost when 27 and 26 were scored off overs 6 and 9 respectively. (Bowlers’ names withheld to protect the guilty). John Reynolds had another good game with the bat and ball and John Hill also got to 24 not out running 12 singles!!!!! The match was still there to win at over 12 but the Bolton lower order could not get the Waddington bowlers away. The loss was mitigated by the opportunity for some lovely beer in the Lower Buck. A refreshing change!
