Bolton-by-Bowland v Skipton
Home, 19 June 2005
Bunyan highest score runs Skipton close.
Holmefield (BBB won toss): Skipton beat BBB by 5 runs.
Nigel Bunyan, with a dodgy hamstring, scored a career best 129 not out and
nearly clinched a win for the home side. Skipton’s Gary Owen, a product
of Upper Wharfedale School, scored 101; he was ably supported by R Martin
and the visitors made 241 off 40 overs. Gordon Wilson took 3 for 57. Nigel’s
ton included a glorious six and 19 fours off 102 deliveries.
