Bolton by Bowland youngsters Parks, Sutton & Billows finish the job.

Holmefield: (Downham won toss): BBB beat Downham by 6 wickets.

Bowland youngsters’ Richard Parks, Matthew Sutton, at the end of the Downham innings, and Chris Billows at the end of the Bolton innings ensured victory for Bolton in this season’s first league game. Richard and Matthew restricted the Downham batting to 22 off the last three overs whilst Chris hit the winning four off Downham’s fast bowler Andrew Booth. Bolton captain Tim Hall laid the foundation for victory with 2 for 4 and 25 not out.
