Hopcroft’s 68 secures victory for Waddington.

Holmefield (Waddington won toss): Waddington beat BBB by 2 wkts.

Waddington reversed their earlier defeat to Bolton in a close game. The game hinged on over 33 when J Hopcroft plundered 18 runs off the bowling of the normally parsimonious John Hill. Bolton scored 171 with good scores from Pete Rowson and Nigel Bunyan who both ended up close to 50. Steve Booth took 4 for 26 and with Hill and Levet both catching well Bolton were in with a chance of winning until Hopcroft, with six 4’s and four 6’s, saw the away side to victory.
