Bolton-by-Bowland v Skipton
Away, Sunday 20th June 2004
Sandilands (Skipton won toss): Skipton beat BBB by 3 runs.
Steven Booth’s 72 was not enough as Bolton lost to a well organised
Skipton side. The match could have gone Bolton’s way had Mick Smalley
not been bowled by a daisy cutter. Law 24 section 6 calls for a no ball if
it rolls along the ground or bounces more than twice. Had ‘Trigger’ not
been sunning himself in France the game might have been won! We all know
the law now.
