Young Brown creates BBB victory

Great Harwood were put into bat and reached 119 in 31.2 overs. There was some fine bowling by Keith Whitewell (2 for 44), Simon Reynolds (4 for 20), Stephen Booth (2 for 16), and Colin Darlington (1 for 4). Two fine catches by Stephen Booth and a superb catch at deep extra cover by Martin Brown once again showed a good team performance.

Three 'ducks and a 8 didn't augur well for our chances, but a steady 27 by Paul Levet and an accomplished 13 by young Ben Topham plus 15 by Stephen Booth supported Martin Brown who carried his bat from second wicket down with a brilliantly calculated innings of 45. The star!
